FAQ

Common staking questions

Does Validatize take custody of SOL when I use the staking page?

The direct SOL workflow creates a stake account with the connected wallet as both staker and withdrawer authority. Validatize receives delegation to its validator, not control of the wallet.

Can I unstake SOL later?

Yes. Reconnect the same supported wallet to discover matching Validatize stake accounts. Active stake can be deactivated, and once Solana reports it as inactive, it can be withdrawn back to the wallet.

Can I send ETH directly to a validator public key?

No. Ethereum validator public keys are identifiers, not deposit addresses. Native validator funding must use valid deposit data and the intended withdrawal credentials.

Where can I see validator performance?

The public Validator Performance page shows the newest published metrics and labels stale data.

Are staking rewards guaranteed?

No. Rewards and asset values are not guaranteed. Review the Staking Risk Disclosure before participating.
